However, if one considers the movement of the moon in relation to the changing season, the best date to encounter foraging animals will be the 48 hour period beginning at 06:00AM on July 13, 2006 and proceeding until 09:00PM on July 15, 2006.

In general, the investigator will be better served seeking in the hours of 10:00PM until 07:00AM as the heat of summer builds and the later harvest-time enters the cycle.

August - September 2006 Forecast August 17, 2006 until September 27, 2006

Interpretation: The possibility exists that animal activity will be higher than normal on the following dates: August 21- 23, 2006 September 01-10, 2006 September 16 - 22, 2006 The times are approximate depending upon many factors. However, if one considers the movement of the moon in relation to the changing season, the best date to encounter foraging animals will be the 240 hour period beginning at 12:00AM on September 1, 2006 and proceeding until 12:00PM on September 10, 2006.

MOON PHASES New - 08/23/06 Full - 09/07/06 New - 09/22/06

In general, the investigator will be better served seeking in the hours of 07:00PM until 07:00AM as the heat of summer intensifies and the harvest time begins to enter fullness. Further, the animals are seeking water from the prolonged drought in the southeast. The best locations will be food sources near water and in high (altitude) deciduous forest.

August - September 2006 Forecast September 27, 2006 until November 12,2006

Interpretation: The possibility exists that animal activity will be higher than normal on the following dates: October 6 - 9, 2006 October 15 - 19, 2006 November 2 - 7, 2006 The times are approximate depending upon many factors. However, if one considers the movement of the moon in relation to the changing season, the best date to encounter foraging animals will be the 96 hour period beginning at 12:00PM on October 15,2006 and proceeding until 05:00PM on October 20, 2006. The best date this year (to date) - 10/19/2006. Huge indicators of higher than normal activity!

MOON PHASES Full - 10/06/06 New - 10/22/06 Full - 11/05/06

The investigator will be better served seeking in the late afternoon/early morning hours. The forecast calles for a split day (4 hours morning/5 hours early evening). The weather begins to chill in the higher elevations. The summer is prolonged along the coastal plane. Heat begins to recede in the middle of October. The swamps will be ideal to explore and will have much 01:00 AM - 07:00 AM activity. The best date will be Thursday 10/19/2006. The activity will begin around 09:00PM on 10/18/2006 and extend until 10/20/2006 at 05:00PM.
