Who we are...
The Southeastern Skunk Ape
Research Center is focused on solving the mystery surrounding the mysterious
creature commonly known as "Bigfoot" or "Sasquatch."
Our unique vision involves
innovative investigation techniques using the latest scientific equipment
and other "not so common" methodologies.
S.E.S.A.R.C. is the 21st
century descendent of the well known Georgia Swamp Ape Research Center.
In the 1990s, two men came together to form a powerful, scientifically
based research center aimed at solving the unexplained sightings of "Bigfoot"
within and around the State of Georgia. Their efforts revealed the now famous "Elkins
Creek Cast" and other conclusive evidence related to that particular investigation. Presently, S.E.S.A.R.C. intends to continue investigating these unknown creatures using innovative
scientific methodologies designed to resolve this ongoing mystery.
Sadly, the investigative methods utilized for the
past thirty years have failed miserably. We believe that the time has come
to overcome, innovate and to seek answers in unlikely places. We believe
that the "boiler plate" explanations no longer hold up.
In short, we have launched
a renewed and refreshed investigative effort which will have an astounding
impact on the world of "Bigfoot" investigation for years to come!
The Truth Starts here...
Our efforts will include investigation
into the probable biological existence of this creature. However, we will
explore any other avenue of inquiry based upon the evidence with which
we are confronted (on a case by case basis).
The simple truth is many investigators
discard valuable evidence because it does not fit into a single, biologically explainable,
"Bigfoot Community" acceptable hypothesis. This is bad science. We must
confront the evidence as we find it and not "pigeon-hole" evidence because
it is not popularly accepted or does not easily fit into some preconceived notion of
what is true.
Evidence is evidence and the free exchange of ideas should not be censored!
It is our desire to confront investigations
with an open mind. It is obvious that something is
out there...join us as we seek a viable solution!
